This position is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for SunTrust Private Wealth’s ultra-high net worth (U-HNW) segment, GenSpring as well as the Family Office Services offering that goes to market under the GenSpring brand. The ideal candidate is values driven, exhibits a creative and professional spirt as well as an authentic passion for delivering a nationally recognized client-centric experience. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Line of Business (LOB) leaders to develop marketing strategies and plans that are designed to drive meaningful conversations with ultra-high net worth (U-HNW) target audience in an effort to acquire new clients and deepen existing relationships. Work closely with LOB and internal centers of excellence to set standards for collateral creation, strategic partnerships, media relations as well as external vendors to implement strategy of GenSpring across both the U-HNW segment experience and family office services experience. Develop and produce materials that provide a compelling story that uses simple language to discuss complex topics that build awareness, relevance, reputation and esteem among target audiences including internal constituencies. Support content marketing in the form of partnering with subject matter experts to publish thought leadership that further promotes the GenSpring | SunTrust Private Wealth brand as an advocate for the unique needs of U-HNW clients. Knowledge of the rapidly evolving family wealth landscape and an understanding of regulatory rules that govern marketing and messaging in the sector. Provide strategic counsel to internal business leaders and influence them about the types of marketing initiatives that will help build profitable growth and further the consumer vision of having a nationally recognized client-centric brand. Gather, understand and monitor the competitive landscape and general industry information and communicate related news/positioning. Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives. Oversee marketing budget to support strategic objectives, direct annual activities in accordance to budget parameters and evaluate performance. Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in marketing, finance, social sciences or related field 10+ years of demonstrated work experience with expert knowledge in marketing in a financial services organization, serving high net worth households, managing broad-based marketing strategy and execution. Proven leadership experience with an excellent track record of motivating and collaborating in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required including superior knowledge in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus Equal Opportunity Employer: SunTrust supports a diverse workforce and is a Drug Testing and Equal Opportunity Employer.
