Primary Purpose: Provide systems and data management for Flexible Benefits clients of McGriff Insurance Services Flexible Benefit Services. Coordinate development of standards and procedures. Apply standards and best practices to manage client data housed in the recordkeeping system. Act as the technical liaison between client and Flexible Benefit Services by obtaining and managing data. Resolve complex business problems for internal and external clients. Provide application level support and assistance of recordkeeping platform and related ancillary systems including voice, web, internal, and external applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Develop in-depth knowledge of the data used to administer benefits for specific clients. Analyze and manipulate large data sets. Map data and prepare for importing/exporting. Perform system and plan configuration. Design and implement custom reports. Perform research to resolve issues or make recommendations. Perform plan enrollment reviews, data audits, and system configuration reviews as necessary. Work with line of business applications to assist end users; resolve problems and improve processes. Keep system and procedural documentation up to date. Work on special projects to extend functionality. Required Skills and Competencies: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training
  • Two years of experience with recordkeeping systems
  • Three years or more of experience with data file manipulation
  • Advanced to intermediate use of Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Queries
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of employee and client levels
  • Display good attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Above average multi-tasking skills and the ability to reassess priorities to meet deadlines and maintain appropriate levels of system/user support
  • Ability to travel and work irregular hours to meet deadlines

Desired Skills: * Experience in recordkeeping, account administration, and transactions in a benefits administration system. * Familiarity with ERISA plans and rules regarding their administration. * Demonstrated problem solving skills, including the ability to determine root cause. * Demonstrated interpersonal skills to relate effectively with all levels of employees and customers.
