Provide ongoing support of the commercial fulfillment process to ensure that established service levels are met and that the Perfect Client Experience (PCE) is provided. Assist in identifying new and recurring risks related to the origination, closing, booking and funding of all Small Commercial, Commercial, Commercial Real Estate and Corporate loans for the Community Bank and other channels through a centralized processing environment. Monitor the daily job functions of assigned team to ensure the consistent system-wide process intended to mitigate loss exposure and maximize profitability is being followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and report risks of the commercial fulfillment process to management; assist in the implementation of effective process/systems to manage the risks.
Recruit, hire, coach, mentor and develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities of assigned team by reinforcing the BB&T culture, leadership and supporting models.
Responsible for ensuring commercial loan documentation quality will meet audit and all regulatory expectations, standards and requirements.
Lead communication with key commercial lending leadership, which includes, but is not limited to, Market Presidents, Relationship Managers, Sales and Service Officers along with Credit Officers and Senior Loan Administrators, to ensure consistent application of the Bank’s procedures and processes.
Responsible for efficient delivery of services to internal and external clients for all related activities including, but not limited to, loan set-up, processing, closing, funding and post-closing functions.
Support the commercial lending process by producing legal and supporting documentation required for closing, modification or renewal through timely and accurate input to internal systems. Ensure documentation is in compliance with credit approval, secure a valid lien, and confirm that all pre-closing requirements are satisfied.
Manage documentation quality to ensure it meets or exceeds Bank’s exception rate goal by identifying required loan documentation for various loan types and pledged collateral, consistently monitor exception activity and provide timely follow-up and clearing of exceptions.
Provide clear verbal and written communication to third parties (e.g. attorneys, insurance agents), as needed.
Facilitate external loan closings (e.g. attorney closing), process executed loan documentation for booking, accurately disburse loan proceeds, and submit completed loan packages to Loan Services in a timely manner.
Provide superior service to internal clients by taking ownership of client needs and requests and following through to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
Keep abreast of the financial services industry knowledge, standards and practices. Required Skills and Competencies:

Associate’s degree in Business-related field, or equivalent education and related training
Five years of commercial lending support and/or credit administration support experience; experience with commercial loan closing, document preparation and funding
Knowledge of commercial loan documentation requirements in assigned states/regions
Superior verbal and written communication skills to internal and external clients
Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
Ability to travel, occasionally overnight Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field
Graduation from an accredited paralegal program and/or paralegal certification by the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) or the American Alliance of Paralegals, Inc. (AAPI)
