Statistical Quantitative Analyst Responsible for the analysis and performance monitoring of quantitative models. Reviews and updates model documentation. Ensures that risks inherent in model development and usage are properly identified and managed. Models in scope will be in the Finance/Compliance, Loss Forecasting, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Anti-Money Laundering areas.

Job Title: Statistical Quantitative Analyst G46 - 49 Job Summary: This position is a multi-level position (Compensation Grades 46 - 49). Responsible for the analysis and performance monitoring of quantitative models. Reviews and updates model documentation. Ensures that risks inherent in model development and usage are properly identified and managed. Models in scope will be in the Finance/Compliance, Loss Forecasting, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Anti-Money Laundering areas. Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Quant Finance
  • 2 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of degree and experience
  • Strong quantitative, finance, and statistical background
  • Strong programming skills in SAS (most important), R, Python
  • Can handle projects independently with a minimum of oversight and supervision
  • Effective communication skills Preferred Requirements:

  • Master’s or PhD in a relevant field such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Quant Finance

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of degree and experience
  • Strong quantitative, finance, and statistical background
  • Strong programming skills in SAS (most important), R, Python
  • Can handle projects independently with a minimum of oversight and supervision
