Job Description

Responsible for supporting cross-functional activities of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. This role will be responsible for the development of IAM processes & documentation for both strategic projects and continuous improvement activities. Will provide guidance and documentation on the implementation and successful operationalization of IAM software platforms. Will also coordinate Business as Usual (BAU) activities with other Security Operations teams and directly with Business. Will work directly with key Stakeholders, Data Analysts, Project Managers and other team members to define business processes, project charters, business and technical requirements, project acceptance criteria, test plans, work plans and schedules. Will prioritize work activities within IAM sphere of influence to reduce risk to the Enterprise. Lead and assist in defining business processes & controls around sensitive data and applications to ensure compliance with financial, privacy and other security & regulatory requirements. Will play a key role in communicating IAM program goals and objectives, and provide updates to company leaders outside of Security Operations.

Works independently in response to general work direction. May instruct or coach other professionals. Collaborate within the Security Operations teams to coordinate the areas of Information Protection, Identity & Access Management, Governance, Security Operations and Security Engineering. Execute existing information security policy and provide guidance to IT security staff and other stakeholders. Assist in determining threats, identify risks and vulnerabilities to the organization, and direct corrective actions. Monitor and coordinate compliance activity with information security policies. Technical proficiency in how IAM requirements can be best realized in security-related hardware and software. Applies knowledge of IAM processes, controls, architecture, principles, standards and procedures. Performs work within company and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge. Sound understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices. Ability to lead complex projects. Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems. Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective.

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor's Degree with 3-7 years of BA experience

Strong analytical skills

Ability to clearly & concisely communicate complex security related information to non-technical audiences

Proficiency in MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word

Prior experience in Identity & Access Management is strongly desired including the ability to define IAM processes & controls in a regulated environment

Prior experience using the NIST Cybersecurity framework and associated “Protect” controls is desired

Prior experience with Archer is a plus

Prior experience with IAM platform implementation activities is a plus

Ability to communicate clearly via verbal and written communications to staff, stakeholders and senior management

Highly motivated to foster an environment that promotes collaboration to create excellent results

Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels within the organization and have frequent contact with other teams within the company

Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills

The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments

Ability to clearly communicate to an audience that may include less technically oriented listeners.
