Job Description

Responsible for the implementation and administration of compliance programs. Ensures applicable laws and regulations are met by transactional testing and reviews of business units and related technologies and processes. Evaluates compliance adherence through analyzing data and reporting results, risks and trends to management. Reviews filings or reports to regulatory agencies. Depending on level, performs activities such as; administrative duties, review filings, revise, evaluate, and communicate procedures, analyze technology applications, and advise business units on applicable regulatory requirements and any necessary remediation.

Interprets policy guidelines and regulations for assigned areas. Performs compliance tasks that deal with compliance and regulatory issues. Analyzes standard reports and identifies opportunities to correct non-compliance. Monitors and analyze routine transactions. May be responsible for a small function or serve as a team member in a larger, more complex function. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: •High School Diploma or equivalent work experience •Demonstrated understanding of compliance concepts and reporting •Solid PC skills •1 year of experience reviewing, reporting and organizing compliance data or business information.

Preferred Qualifications: College degree. 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance or the financial services industry such as broker dealer, bank, legal, audit, or risk management; or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fluid environment, and to work both independently and as a member of a team. Understanding of and experience with regulations related to assigned LOB or function (e.g. Investment Banking, Brokerage, HR Employment law, Banking Regs., Technology Security, and Community Development, etc.), and 2 years’ compliance experience. Ability to assist in interpreting laws and regulations. Project management skills. Proficiency in Excel.
